Default engine code PO455 Dodge Ram 1500 V8 Magnum

OK, new to dodge country-I'm trying to find out if anyone knows of areas of the evap system that commonly cause this code to come up. Dealership (not Dodge) is no help at all. I posted in another forum and got really good info. Truck has V8 magnum engine, 2001 less than 100K. Really good truck. I just want to figure out why this check engine light keeps coming on. I've cleared the code and tightened and sealed the gas cap. Still trying to get from the dealership exactly what they've done to the truck. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

There is a leak in your Evap System. Could be a disconnected hose, broken connector, etc. There is a purge solenoid in the driver's side rear of the engine that runs a line to the front of the throttle body. Trace the line from the TB back to there and check the connections. Also check the connection and the line from the solenoid back down to the fuel tank.

Major leak in the evap system. Check all your hoses. I'll bet one is completely off or large crack at the connection. Pay close attention to the TOP of the fuel tank where you can't see them until you take them down.
