I may have to look into this. I did the 14x3 and love the sound and gains there, but I am in too dirty of conditions and changing filters once a month is beginning to suck. Do you by chance have pictures of it installed in your truck?
no I do not but when I get home I will add some look for it next week. I would do it now but all I have is the camera on my cell phone and its not the best.
Looks like a nice set-up. Does it allow for any movement between the tube and the heat shield? Or is it sealed tight around the tube. I'm assuming it just draws air from the existing hole in the inner fender from the stock tube.
It was loose around the tube and air box but some foam from lowes fixed that actually it had lots of gaps that the package did not include foam for so I replaced alot of it with hardware store parts. it was about $5 extra for the stuff I needed to fix it. and it does draw air from the existing hole in the fender.
Actually, I was hoping there was some movement in there for the engine torque. I've read the KN kits are too tight and crack because there's little room for flexing.
