lexan really isn't an option if you want to keep it street legal. Get a fiberglass roll pan. A fiberglass hood and fenders. A fiberglass bed would be pretty helpful. Lose the gas tank and put inan aluminum fuel cell...then you could even run duel exhaust out each side. They might make aluminum a arms for the dodges, idk though. Maybe some spindles as well.......aluminum drums maybe as well....
fiberglass bed would be trick, but...even better would be dropping it all together...eh? though spinning would be a B!TCH. fiberglass roll pan is a must have on my list. Do they even make fiberglass fenders? The fuel cell is also another one on the list. I may just take out the rear brakes when I go to the track.

some place there is a company that does prerunner kits with fiberglass just about everything
Well yeah, except it would look ridiculous with fenders flared out 4"+ on each side to accomodate LT suspension, yet he's running street suspension...So there'd be major overhang...

Do they even make fiberglass fenders?
Yes they do, however most of them are for desert off-road racing/pre-running applications. Meaning the huge flare outwards on the front fenders. Not sure anyone makes them for rams since you want IFS for running in the desert at high speeds...

The shaker hoods are fiberglass with heat risers. Give you less weight plus more power from a cooler engine compartment/ intake air temp.

Did you look at my weight reduction page on my site?

3800lbs was my low NA race weight with a stock motor, ac and all power options except for the power seats.

Few items that will drop lots of weight
Weld Draglite rims with Sportsman Fronts and ET streets were good for about 130lbs off
Tailgate figure on 65lbs
Spare tire is about 57lbs
Race buckets on modified stock manual pedestalls I was able to see about 112lb of reduction.
Couple other things
Headers good for a few lbs, h/f cat drops some weight, stock exh is a bit heavy. Stock battery is heavy and could be relocated to the bed. Wiper motor, assembly and resevoir good for a couple lbs though most want wipers. (mines fairweather only)

Remove the heater box and related plumbing, blower motor. I'll bet it's all 60lbs or more.

yea i found the page finally. the spare tire and ratchet assemb will go. The seats are going to stay, because I cant find a daily driving seat thats comfortable enough for me. the exhaust is already done, so thats quite a bit off there, and yea, the wipers are gonna stay.

Just take the bed off. Bare frame, dude. If you want to get that light and still be street legal, you're gonna have to get freaky
