I had trouble with that link to Summit...What year and model of truck did you get the Hurst shifter for?

The NV3500 Hurst is discontinued, AFAIK the only Dodge version was the Dakota, it should fit a Ram.

I had a Hurst and got rid of it. A shorter throw means more effort required to shift gears which got old on a DD.. Instead I adapted a Hurst lever to the stock shifter, so I have the nice Hurst lever/**** feel without the drawbacks. I also know of someone else who gained two tenths in the 1/4 in his Dakota by going back to the stock shifter because of the decreased shift effort.
