Default If you had to pick ONE..Which flows better: Open filter or CAI?

Sorry guys if this subject has been beat to death. I'm itching for a new intake system on my truck, and want to make the most power for the money. Has anyone had any back to back test on which system works best ? IE: Open filter element on top of the TB or the CAI systems?

Or are they all pretty close?

TIA

I have run 3 versions of CAI (a custom one, an Airaid, and a K&N FIPK), and I now run a round filter. I like the round filter best for a number of reasons. Do I have specific dyno numbers that prove one is better then the other? No.

i have the round air filter, it makes my truck louder, and not to mention makes my engine bay look 10x better and is more of a muscle car look and i am not a fan of CAI, i like the old school look

I like the old school look myself, but I also believe in functional modding. I do things to my vehicle that work the most efficient, but maybe not always look the best

I appreciate all the input. Keep 'em coming.

I like how it looks for one. Second, it is extremely easy to work on, and around. Third, it sounds neat. And last but not least, it performs better then any other air intake I have tried.
