Hey guys, thanks for the advice! Ok, upon further deliberations with my personal accountant (wife), I am now looking to stay in the $150 range for tires.

To answer afew questions:

- I only drive the truck6000 miles a year, so a lower priced 30-35,000 mile tire is going to last me awhile
- I live in Minnesota so snow/mud traction is important especially during hunting season.
- Most of my driving is highway at 70-75 mph.
- I never go "extreme" off-roading or rock climbing, I save that for the my ATV.
- We sold our camper last month, so the only towing I'll be doing is pulling the ATV's on a trailer or occasionally using a car trailer.

 

I think u can pick up BFG mudd trains for that. And swompers for like 175. BFG will last u longer. But when u say Snow and mudd idk if ur talking like a dirt road, or cutting through a snow field. I still stay with the swompers b/c if u want to get out in the snow and mudd to hook up a rope so u can get pulled out is ur deal.. The swompers will hum more on the highway but i think its soothing lol.

Also no office to the other people but stay with the average mudd tires, people know what they can do and its nothing like getting stuck for 3-4 hours on a hunting trip in the cold b/c these tires look good but cant perform.

I got TrXus M/Ts on mine and I have no complaints. Nice and quiet on the road too; smooth ride.
