Default How do I wire for a trailer?

Alright, just picked up a 6x14 enclosed trailer to haul my bikes around with my 98 1500. It takes a 7 pin connector and I'm going to need a trailer brake controller as well. Can someone please help me find info on getting this truck wired up for it.

It does not have the factory tow package. I purchased a hitch separately in order to get one and now I need to wire it. I have no hitch wiring. Can I buy a wiring kit somewhere to do this or did I just screw myself over and can't wire up for this trailer?

you can just go to walmart or any parts store and but the connection you need and it has a wiring diagram to tell you how to wire it up...all you have to do is find the wires on your truck...like the left and right turn signals/brake lights and parkinglights. It is pretty easy once you find those.

Piece o'Cake!
Just buy the 7pin connector for the truck and follow the printed instructems that comes with. Do yourself a favor though, get the plug 'n' play connetors for the lights. No splicing. But a few bucks more.
For the brake controller, again follow the directums. The worst part to that is determining a good place to mount it.

Do they sell those for a 7 pin connector?

Thanks ASH, that was exactly what I needed since I'm starting from scratch.
