tazman... i did it to the bottom third of my truck....a had rust starting down there so i bought some stuff called rust bullet and sanded down the truck to a rough surface and put the rust bullet on first and let it dry and then rough that surface up too and then put the bedliner on....there was a small spot on my truck up higher that i sanded down to metal and put the rust bullet on and nothing on top of it to see if it would rust and that was two years ago and still no rust, if that was primer rust would of bled through the first week!!!!....so needless to say the rust bullet really works and the bedliner paintjob looks pretty good.i have a dark blue truck with the black bottom...will get picks as soon as i can!!!!....you dont have to put the rust bullet on but if you are going to do that you might as well keep it from rusting too!!!

I just sprayed the bottom 1/3 ( from the uppermost of the two body lines ) of my truck last night. I also did the bumpers.

I used duplicolor truck bed coating and sprayed it on with a schutz gun. Worked awesome.

As everyone says, prep it well. Sand, blow it off, grease and wax remover and spray it on!
