Covering Tags, why?
Just wondering, when pictures of vehicles are taken and posted on line, why is the license plates blurred or blacked out?
We ride down the street everyday our plates showing, and access to the VIN is direct.

my VIN is not visible from outside!
also if someone is a real ***** on the net say.. and someone wanted to get back at him.. all he'd have to do is grab the tags, find location, then screw the truck over.. jsut to **** off some user who owned him online.

I look at it this way, there are soooo many people trying to steal others identity's etc, I'm not putting anything out there that has the slightest possibility of helping them. [sm=ts.gif]

doesn't bother me if someone see's my tag in a pic. like metioned before, they can see it if im driving down the street. besides, most people that cover there tags have where they live right in their profiles. but like ryan said, it does reflect the light from a camera quite a bit.
