Default Stock Bumper or Roll Pan???

I just want to get your guys' opinion on this, because it has me completely stumped. I plan to buy a near rear bumper for my truck because the one currently on there has white paint on it, and its been in a car accident so it's a little bent. Heres my predicament though, I figure if I have to replace the bumper, maybe I should consider purchasing a roll pan. A roll pan screams custom, and its actually cheaper than a fricken stock bumper! But my only problem is that if I go with a roll pan, it's going to expose that hideous 10,000 lb. stock reese hitch. Sure I could buy a hidden hitch, but that's money there, and most hidden hitches don't surpass 6,000 lb. max, which sucks.. So what do you guys think? Buy the stock bumper, a nice clean black one, or go crazy and buy the roll pan?? Has anyone here had a rollpan installed, and does the reese hitch stick out stupidly, or?? Let me know what you all think~!

Ryan, you seem to have a pretty fricken stirdy bumper, but I'm afraid it'd clash with my theme quite terribly, looks great with your truck though! But sinister I thinky you are right, I forgot about the whole rear ending issue too, I'd rather it **** a bumper up then my bed rails and all of the other internals, so definately going stock bumper now, thanks guys.

def go stock, and keep your hitch on the truck so when someone hits ya, they stay there. Seen a few rear end collisions where the ball went right through the other guys radiator. that will teach em to hit ya in the ***.

Thats my point as well. I also feel that if your not planning on any other mods than the rollpan look may not cut it. I'm still into the stock look of this truck. When I go to town on it some day then maybe a roll pan will be part of the changes but until then I'd like to have a new rear bumper as well. This one is dented and some of the chrome if falling off. Time to check the junk yards I guess.

ebay it. you can get them shipped to ya for under $300. when my father went to the junk yard they wanted $4-500. And remember, thats fo a used one in a junk yard. he ended up getting a used one from the dealer. it had a small (quarter size) dent. they took it off and he got it for $100. cant go wrong there.
