looks good but my only concern would be how low you have it mounted and the posibility of water getting to it

you can see from the 1st attempt pics that it was WAY too low, thanks to some advice i re did it and moved it away from the exaust manifold. it sits right on the edge of the wheel well now.

Use pvc tubing (3in)
Please do not use PVC! PVC is for plumbing, not for trucks. Not only is it heavy, and hard to connect, but it doesn't withstand the constant extreme temp swings an engine bay sees, so it will likely crack or something. Not to mention it looks ugly (Sorry RamMan - I am really not trying to slam you here)

IT's easy, take some measurements, figure out what type of bends you need, how much straight and get it in aluminum

I actually just finished writing in another thread that I bought a CAI from Verocious. They also have all the tubing and connectors you would need to fabricate your own setup. I thought about going that route, but was concerned about an exposed filter for wheelin', so I went with the S&B setup.

pvc works fine. its not hard to connect, and paint it with temp reducing paint and your fine.

If your worried about an exposed air filter you can buy a reflector shield for rocks and put panty hose over the filter for the mud/grass/big chunks.
