Default LEAKS???

Ok guys i have a few things to talk about. F irst i have a leak at the transfer case on the output shaft where the driveshaft goes into,is that seal there that holds in the transfer case fluid very hard to change or not? If it is fairly deasy then i will do it myself.Next the rear end output shaft is leaking gear oil,is that seal hard to change or fairly easy? The next thing is the transmission pan keeps leaking on me....tried two different gaskets on there and it still leaks,so what kind on gasket are u guys using that dont leak on you? If anyone can give me some input i would appreciate it very much!

It shouldn't be too hard, if you are mechanically inclined that is. You might need a seal puller for the transfer case, I have never worked on a transfer case so I don't know but I would think that you would need one.

i know the rear one you just need like a flat head screwdriver and just kinda pry it out, carefull not to take chunks outa the side walls. as for the other 2 questions i have no idea. had my tranny rebuilt by a shop so i didnt do the gasket

make sure your not using a cork gasket on the tranny pan.. if you are.. it has to be TOTALLY dry before you put it back on .. get a rubber gasket..

i had a rubber gasket on it but it still is leaking...i will see if the bolts will tighten down anymore than they are without stripping them and try it once more! As far as the other two seals i think i will just try them and see if they will come out without tearing up the sidewalls!
