Default Need Help with Tire/Wheel Size - Have a deal I don't want to miss!!!

I have an opportunity to get a tire and wheel combo for a steal, but I need some help!!!!

I have a '99 Ram 1500 Sport (2" lift)

I have the opportunity to get

(4) 16 x 10 wheels w/ 4.5" backspacing and LT305/70R16 (33X12.50R16LT) tires for next to nothing

does anyone know if these will rub? This deal won't last long so I need to act fast. Did a search and didn't come up with what I was looking for.

------------

The guy selling them had them on an '01 Ram but he has a 6" lift, so I know the wheels will fit, but will they fit with my 2" lift?

It should fit. I'm not saying that it won't rub on extreme conditions, but if you dont get them, I'll take them....

yeah, they MIGHT rub at fullwheel lock, but they will fit.

and take them even if you cant use them. easy to resell for profit.

well it's done....

I pick them up on Monday. I'll post up before and after picks once I have a chance to put them on.
Which may not be until the following weekend.....

I can't wait, it's totally going to transform the look of my truck!

ive got a 97 ram sport ,4x4 with bfg all terrain ko 265-7516 size and they rub at full lock on the front control arm...305 is going to rub for sure but you can adjust the screws (stoppers) this way youll increase the turning radius but it wont rub .

Hmmm... I think that's strange, because 265/75R16 is the stock tire size for my truck, and I have plenty of clearance for those. But those tires are still mounted on my stock 16x7 rims.

Maybe its your wheels?

stock aluminum wheels 16x7 at full lock backing up, I hear the " tink tink tink tink" of the lugs rubbin one after the other on the control arm. Its not a U joint or something because I can clearly see where it rubs its not much but just enought to make that annoying noise at full lock , on a flat surface, (no suspension travel involved.

1997 ram sport 4x4 short box std cab.

I am buying some 285 75 16, and now it really makes me think about keeping the stock size.

I just mounted some 265/75-16's on my 1996 1500 4x4 Club cab short bed yesterday. No rubbing at all. Not even close. Lock to lock on a flat surface, truck is fully stock.
