Installing 14X3 open airfilter
i installed mine today!!! yea mine can spin too.. how do u have so much room between the filter top and the top of the firewall cause i have bearly any and i had to take the wiring harness off to be able to screw the wing nut on.. it all fits now but it was kind of a pain, i also winged bending the bolt and it turned out perfect.. i love the big SWOOP!! u hear right before you give it gas too
Good grief, is that a 50MP camera?
looks good. You can put a locknut on the bottom of the bolt if you don't want it to spin around, you just have to adjust it until you get the s bolt to face backward over the TB. I had a bit of a problem getting my air hat w/a K&N filter to seal with it loose.

Ya, put a nut on the s-bolt so that when you screw it into the TB, the nut causes the s-bolt to stop when it makes contact with the TB. Adjust it a few times so that it causes it to stop just at the point you want it to be (bend facing in the right direction). That helps keep things from moving. Also, after you run the engine much, heat causes all kinds of expansion. I find that mine is tighter when it is hot then when the engine is cold. It only needs to be tight enough to make a good seal. You don't want to over tighten the s-bolt (another good reason to put the nut on like I mentioned above, keeps you from over tightening) because your TB is made from soft alumunim, and can crack where the s-bolt screws in if you tighten too much.

I just us the Paint program that comes on almost any windows machine.
It can usually be found under:
-> Start
-> All Programs
-> Accessories
-> Paint
Once you have the picture open that you want to resize, select Image, then Stretch/Scew. Lower the Horizonatal and Vertical numbers under the Stretch section until the picture is the size you want. I have a 7 mega pixel camera, and I usually use 30-40% in those fields to get a decent sized picture that is easy to e-mail (even dial-up users can look at them in this lifetime), and works well when posting on sites like this.
Just my 2 cents.

I just use a pair of vise grips and pliers. Put the vise grips right at the spot you want to bend it and then use the pliers to bend it. keep the vise grips on the inside (toward the "s") and then you won't tear up the threads.
It doesn't have to be perfect, just close.

I got mine at advanced auto. Walked in and it was sitting on the shelf. Breathers in the shelf above it. 285 dollar K/N cold air intakes next to it [:'(]
Runs good, definetly a noticable difference in accelleration.
