Default New exhaust video

I havent made a full throttle video flyby since I had open headers, so I made one in the same place as I made the open header video. No cameraman this time though. Which do you think sounds better?

Open headers

Open headers sounded mint, but your exhaust system is awesome for it being a complete one. My only question is, is where is your tailgate?! Get that back on there, and everything else is mint!

tailgate is added weight+drag. they chill in the garage unless I need one.

They both sound good. Actually I kept cracking up thinking about how funny it would be if after you drove down the street and someone stole your camera... I mean just picture it...

"Damn, yo someone left a perfectly good camera on the ground over here"
"yeah we can get some money for this"
...Indy's truck goes flying past...
"Damn wonder where he's off to in such a hurry"
*end feed*

Personally I'm thinking open headers sound the best

It might be better for fuel mileage, but its an extraweight you can lose drag racing.

If you're gonna go through the trouble (and i don't know if he did, but people do) of ripping up the carpet and putting in expensive lightweight components, that buy you maybe a couple pounds at best, you're gonna wanna lose the 40 pound tailgate.

idk about the fuel mileage thing. As for the air "drag" this is what thy came up with. This it a ghetto drawing I just did to explain. the blue is "air" with a gate on you have air the curclates in your bed causing the air that comes over your roof to pass right over the truck. If the gate is off that air goes down and hits your bed causing more air drag. I know a lot of people run with no gate cause of better fuel mileage and less drag. I personally have no idea I've never driven with the gate off. I was told its illiegle I'm not doubting anyone I'm just telling ya what they said food for thought Iguess you could say.

I guess the new motor is working ok for ya

but yet, my testing says otherwise...they also werent running a ram, at 90mph either. Remember, with the tailgate on, you have an IMMENSE ammount of drag on the tailgate to create that high pressure...and then ontop of that, you have drag on the pressure which pulls on the truck . Think of it as a giant metal pocket...it still causes drag. So its either 2 major forms of drag, or 1 minor form of drag.
