I think that i have made up my mind to get the edelbrock shorty headers #65643 They might cost a little more but its nice to know that they will bolt right up without any extra parts and come with everything that i need for $350 which includes shipping. Has any one here had any problems out of the nickle, chrome painted headers?

Man i cant argue with you guys so i guess that i will get the pacesetter set, I can get the Headers and the y-pipe all for about 410 on ebay.... I dont think thats too bad, ill just have to wait a few more weeks to get them... Does any body know what kind of Hp and torque gains to expect? Also there will still be some room for the cat right?

I highly recommend getting the long tubes over the shorty's. I am still kicking myself. I waited almost 2 years to get headers waiting for someone to come out for long tubes then about 3 months before the pacesetters came out I bought edelbrock ceramic coated shorty's. You will be much happier with the performance of the longtubes. Besides the long tubes will give you a good excuse to redo the exhaust system for better sound and even better performance.

Any one know if i will need a o2 simulator when i hook these longtubes up or should i be ready to roll.... I also plan on getting either the superchips max pro tuner, or the hypertech max energy... Cant one of them turn off the errorlight?

Yes it can reset the OBDII codes but if you don't fix the problem the light will just come back on.
put the key in the ignition, turn the key on off on off on, but don't actuallyturn the truck overeach time, read the codes on the digital odometer, thengo here: http://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/dodge/figure out what's wrong and fix it.
