When I first got my 2001 ram this july,the first thing I noticed was that it had a huge middle arm rest, but NO CUPHOLDERS in site! Do dodge's not have frontseat cupholders? And if they do, where are they? I just couldn't imagine dodge not making cup holders for a nation that is fast food derived lmao! Anyways, help me out guys!

 

They are right there in the middle of the dash...

 

theres a pull-down right below the stereo head unit directly infront of the middle arm rest, its right next to the glove box

 

well right now i have the truck in the body shop getting the dents taken out of it, but im a little skeptical. the guy who owned this truck before did a lot of weird crap to this tihng. for example, the key for the airbag switch has been switched or something. the switch is towards the bottom of the console, and then there just this empty hole toward the top of the dash where it was supposed to be. but ur saying its right below the cd player? does it pop out or something? like a tray?

 

yea, its just like the door handle in the way the handle opens then it drops down just like a tailgate

i know what your talking about with the airbag switch but he but it back ina weird location[&:]

wow...im almost certain i dont have that. i feel like if there was that giant handle, i wouldhave explored that by now. all i have is that cigarette lighter pulldown, and then theres the glovebox...maybe im wrong though, damnit, i wish i had my truck right now to look at it. but thanks guys for helping me out, ill let you know what i have going on wednesday. but im almost positive i wouldnt have missed something that big...hmm

 

Now here's my only other possibilty I can come up with...The truck is considered the "Off-Road" edition, and has off-road written on on the passenger airbag. did off-road model not come with standard cupholders, because im almost certain i dont have that giant pulldown next to my glove box, i couldnt have missed it, especially since i ARMARALL my dashboard weekly lol

 

If its a manual tranny im pretty sure they dont have that.
