anyphotos of ram with bed cap on????
Silver, that is a nice set-up[sm=goodidea.gif]. If I had a garage to keep it in I'd try something like that myself. It's the first time I've seen a way to take a cap on and off by yourself without a pulley system. And while I agree caps are "grandpa" I like to think my truck is an exception. Of course I could be wrong.

That beats the heck out of my storage set up. Two pressure treated saw horses behind the garage to sit on. Shell on top and the flat cover underneath.
My son in law calls it an oversized Durango with the cap on.....

I used to be really good about replacing the foam, but got tired of it never staying in place. Must be the result of taking it on and off so much instead of just leaving it be. I replace it every once in a while now when I think of it, but as you can see from the pictures, there's not much left at the moment, and I honestly don't even worry about it anymore. I suppose if I wanted to use the topper year round permantly, I might make sure it had a weather proof seal, but for as much as I use it, I have never had any issues.
Also, with this method of sliding the topper up onto the bed by myself, that foam stuff takes a beating.
