i found a cap for my truck used and the color matches the guy wants 475 for it. im not sure how its going to look so im hesitant on buying it.. if any one has photos of a 2nd gen with the cap on please post. thanks

 

Here's my silver '99 with a topper on it. I got mine for only $200 in brand new condition, but the tradeoff was that it is white. Still need to paint it, but I think i'll still come out ahead then if I had just bought a new one. I only use it for camping or if we are taking long road trips and the dogs are coming along. I build a stand for it out of 2x4's that helps me install it by myself, and when i'm not using it, it sets on edge and I can roll it around as I need to store it in my garage.

That's a decent price depending on what brand. Shop around for new ones and see what the crazy prices are for some of them.

That's a Leer. It costs me about $1,2008 years ago. It was the best one Leer offered. I have no idea what they go for now. When I first got it people would askme if it was a factory option because it matched the truck so well.

 

Here is mine - not sure how much it ran, it was custom locally and the previous owner had it put on. Silver - do you have any pics of the stand? I'd like to build something like that since I don't always have a second pair of hands to mount/remove it.
