Here are a couple videos of my truck. All it is, is a 3" single inlet/outlet, that goes into a 3" inlet/ 2.5" dual outlet Flowmaster SUPER 44 muffler, and then ends with 22" x 4" stainless steel magnaflow tips that exit at dual 45 degree angle, and it is sick, especially at revving and acceleration! There are no other mods to this truck either.......YET lol. And quite personally, I think it's the best sounding exhaust system on the internet with a SUPER 44. Anyways, just get a feel of what mine sounds like with the mods I told you about (hi-flow magnaflow cat, big tips, and exit style).

Too bad I am at work right now and my pc doesnt have speakers. I'll have to check out the padodgeram vid when I get home. 3 more days and counting till my ears will be filled with the sweet sound of the super 44 muffler.

Didnt have time to post yesterday but I'll post this today. Monday the service shop installed my super 44 flowmaster muffler with the rear side sweep tailpipe exit. man does she sound pretty good, i dont think its as good as what the 5.9L sound like but it does sound alot better than what was on there before.

As soon as I can snag someone's digtal camera I will get a sound clip for you guys.

Quick exhaust question. My shop told me I should run 2 1/4" pipes they said it would give the truck more snap. Also I am thinking of running an original 40 series and running the pipes out like a gibson supertruck exhaust. Any comments on this set up? I've got a 96 regular cab short bed with a 5.9 Thanks

You would be very pleased with the dual side exit. It's VERY potent sounding. It doesn't devistate as much area as some other set-ups (dual sweeps or dual rear) but it really packs a punch! It's definately my 2nd favorite exit option besides the dual rear sweeps. It looks very unique and custom. My brother had that set-up with his Original Flowmaster 40, and it used to devistate cars that it passed lol!

That's what I like to hear. Should I go 40 series or super 44? Also where in ME are you?

I live in the Portland area actually. Personally, I run the SUPER 44, and I am very impressed. I wouldnt ever stray you from either muffler though, either way, they both will tear the roof down!

the dual 2.25" is a good bet, unless you're running over 350 HP then you might want to go up ot the 2.5. If you think the pipes look too small, get some long tips that open up bigger. Magnaflow makes a bunch of them.
