there was a topic on here in reguards to the disk conversion. not sure if you really want to go that way cause if i remember right, it was up in the 2K range. Try searching for the "conversion" topic in the 2nd gen. might have suppliers for both the conversion and drum kits.
yea the 800 is real high since im already short on cash. im hoping less then 200.

i doubt that you'll find a disk conversion kit cheap.
suggestion 1. have you got junk yards in your area. i'd suggest calling one or two of them and check there. junk yards are generally connected by a little terminal network, so if they don't have it they can request it from others and someone, somewhere will respond and they'll ship it and share the sale. that way you don't have to drive all over the world.
suggestion 2. do you only need a backing plate. you might can get it at the dealer for a decent price, and only replace whatever else is required, all or most of which is available at autozone or other local parts store.
