speed sensor

Default speed sensor

so where do i get the speed sensor for a good price? checked out dodgeparts.com and that was 60 bucks. i might as well go to the dealer for that price. can i find them any cheaper?

which sensor do you mean? trans output speed sensor or vehicle speed sensor?

i guess i am confused. i ordered the part from advanced, and it cost 45 dollars (95 from the dealer). now i get the sensor out of the rear end and it look totally different from the one i got. the one i got had a needle type thing. wft?

Post a pic if you can. Does the new sensor look at all like the old one? It might just be a different design.
If it is much wider and has threads on the sides it is most likely the trans output speed sensor.

after looking around i found it was for was for the transfer case. it was a 3 wire sensor, not a 2 wire.
