fuel probs HELP
The manual will not help alot on obd-1. Obd-2 uses 5 volts for most of the control stuff, so it's possible you should be getting 5 instead of 2.5. I would trace the wire back to the pcm, check connections, and then see what voltage you have coming out of the pcm when checked with a known goodground.I would bet it is supposed to be either 5 or 12 volts. It could be the pcm or the wiring/connections between the pcm and the relay.
well maybe not! new fuel pump in, new fuel line in, still long time to start/multiple attempts, once its running drives fine, let it sit = long time to start. any suggestions? on a side note it has an MSD ignition and blaster cap, truck came with it i know nothing about them...
To accurately diagnose you would need to do a leak down test. Either an injector(s) are faulty and staying open and letting the pressure bleed off or the check valve in the pump is doing likewise.

Attach a fuel pressure gauge to the test port on the rail. Cycle the key on to pressurise the rail. Now clamp off the fuel and return lines (if applicable) Use a vise clamp but be careful don't crush the lines. If the pressure on the gauge drops it's leaking past the injectors. You can remove the fuel rail from the intake with the injectors attached and look for any drips or wetness at the injector tips.
well system is losing pressure when it sits.... drove it home 3hrs and now it wont start at all pump is cycling fine there is pressure at the fuel rail cranking fine but no start... i just cant figure this one out it shouldnt be this hard (i also reset the pcm)
