Flame throwing exhaust

RE: Flame throwing exhaust
There was a short DIY on this (kind of a joke, but hey) it used to be there was enough unburnt fuel in the exhust to ignite it, but not on today's vehicles. Now it's all done with propane.
Basically it involves running a propane line to to the exhaust post muffler with a wired up spark plug to the exhaust downstream (toward the exit) of thepropane splice.the spark plug constantly fires, igniting the propane and fire emits from the exhaust. A switch could be rigged in the cab to allow you to turn the system on and off.

Your best bet would be to go to a custom car shop and ask them, flame throwers are illegal to have while driving btw.

RE: Flame throwing exhaust
i think i watched how to do it on the show trucks... back in the day when that guy stacy did the show. i think his switch disconnected one spark plug ofone cylinder and would activate a spark plug in the exhuast. the unburned gas from that one cylinder would pass through (without the gas) and burn out the tail end.
