I agree But to each his own, and I'm glad somebody likes em, because it's more Dodges on the road. Maybe Ford will come out with a Richard Petty Edition F-150, since he raced for them for a year...... It was a Ford Taladega he drove wasn't it?
ORIGINAL: breeke

from page 1 onl, i knew where this was going.....LOL...supercharged...LOL yeah right!
anyway...i personally don't like the truck, i think it looks gay.

hey so what do you guys think about droppni a super charger in with an intercooler? bad idea for a magnum with 80k miles?(mostly city miles to).or is it worth it?
If the compression checks out and you know that you might wear that engine out, go for it. the kits are available through Kenne Bell or Paxton. I'd imagine with it set-up properly, that it would take a Hemi Ram.

An AIR DAM, valance in this situation, is the "F"ugly POS hanging from the front bumper of the REAL Richard Petty Rams, the stock Rams come with a matte black air dam, your truck has the stock sales code for a stock front air dam. Some of these valances look tasteful, ie: the avatar on Denman 383

Take it to a dyno, or drag strip and run it. Let's see what it can do. If your beating Hemi Rams, then something is already done to the truck. Actually a considerable amount would have to be done. Have it dyno'd and see what it will put out at the wheels.

Here's a place that has Dyno Jet brand dynos. The guy up here charges me 75 bucks for 3 pulls including A/F ratio. I've heard some as high as 125 bucks. They will run your vehicle for you, sometimes they may let you run it. Either way, it's cool to know what your truck will do.

You said the previous owner worked on the truck. They may have done some head work and stuff to get it to run good enough to beat a Hemi. It's possible. Take it to the dyno and see what it puts out at the rear wheels.
