odd sounds....?
i did stop and fill up with some gas at a not so great place it was 2.66 a gal so i figured why not ive since then ran thru 3/4 a tank of better gas not doin it as loud but ill get some cleaner and thro it in there i really appreciate it guys u all know i wanna keep my truck runnin good so thanx to all of u ill be on here to let evryone know what happens ....j
well i ran up to the parts store after talkin with some of my mech buddies and bought seafoam i know alot of you talk highly about it so i sprayed some into my intake a 1/3 of a can and now shes sittin ill go start it in a few min like it said on the can i used the other 2/3 in my car cause it has less gas tomorrow after work ill buy another can and add it to my fuel in my truck ....keep our finger crossed itll work if not well i guess everthing will be cleaned i guess.......j
Well I'm not 100% certain what you mean about "to a beat" but I'll throw this out there....
I had a blown exhaust manifold gasket that resulted in a loud tapping that was especially loud on cold starts and under load. It didnt rob any power as far as I could tell either, but the sound was really annoying and loud. In my case I first narrowed it down to a specific cylinder giving me trouble by pulling each wire while running, pulling #8 quieted the noise...then looked at the gasket right next to the cylinderand said "you know, that huge gaping tear in the gasket isn't quite right....ohhhh...wait".
