TPS Sensor adjustment
Working on my T-stat now, thought i might look into the TPS mod.
After you drill out the brass, what exactly are you turning to achieve .7 volts?
I dont see anything.
Is it the actual TPS sensor you are rotating, and thats why you have to drill out the inserts?
If I measure .7 to begin with should I guess I should leave it alone, correct?

yes, you are rotating the tps itself.
i've read different things. here's some more discussion about it.

im gonna hi jack for a sec here sorry but i just read the article on the tps and i replaced mine when i bought the truck but never checked to see what the voltage is and ive also had a shutter in my trans at a slow roll its been rebuilt twice and been in for this issue for the fourth time now its actually in the tranny shop now for the same issue and also it seems undecided on what gear it wants to be in when i hammer on it. so basically at wot and the end of the wind out the tranny should be shifting into od but sometimes it will drop into od then hop out then go back in. could the tps be causing all of this my tranny guy is at a loss here he has no idea what keeps causing all of this. hes a certified tranny shop etc. he gave me a 3 yr 36k mi warranty.and is well know . again sorry for hijacking but this sounds alot like my issues

It roars in waht way? Im having a hard time figureing out what it changes???
Just the way the trans shifts? or will it make morepower?
Would mine be probably too low?? one thing I hate about mine is when going like 40-55 mph it likes to lock and unlock the TC alot... gets annoying.. I just drive it with o/d off... shifts better and is better for the trans...
I am going to do this and see waht happens.

The intial fire up of the truck is a lot louder now that the TPS has been readjusted. Throttle response is aa lotbetter too. I don't think that it'll help with the TC lockup, but itcan help you with shifting if you are shifting at too low a throttle or if you are having problem getting up into higher RPMs to shift at WOT.
one thing i cant stand is when im getting on the highway and i hammer down and im looking for more and the truck just shifts into od wayyyy to early making the truck lugthis especially sucks when towing a trailer. is this caused by the tps. or is this the torque converter lockup everyone talks about
