That's the anchor from the front band. Did you recently do a band adjustment ? If so - it's possible when you were supposed to back off the lock nut on the band adjustment screw you might have mistakenly backed off the band adjustment screw instead. If you did - it could let this part fall out. Pretty sure you would have to pull the valve body to put it back in. If you haven't recently done an adjustment to the band - then I would say you have a major problem with the band which would mean the whole thing would need to come apart.

Curious...why did you have Midas flush the trans. Actually, why did you have Midas do anything? Thieves they are (IMO).

Well, the only option at this point is to get into the tranny and put that piece back where it goes with the kickdown band. I don't think there is a way to do this with the tranny on the truck.. unless you can squeeze it in the slot via the pan. IIRC the only way to access the front band is to drop the tranny, pull the oil pump from the bellhousing side and the kickdown band is behind that.

You can replace the kickdown strut and anchor without pulling the trans.
You will have to remove the valve body to access though.
If the actual band is damaged you will have to remove and disassemble the trans.

There is a C clip that holds the park rod to the valve body. Very awkward to get at.
You can remove the valve body with the park rodattached if you want.
Jack up the rear of the truck and rotate the rear driveshaft while you pull on the park rod.
You will feel the park pawl engage then you should be able to pull the rod out.
It might need a bit of a jerk to get it out.

Good luck
