Gotcha. Yeah I know what you mean. My truck likes to mess around going up hills and crap, I always try to go a good 10mph over the speed limit before I hit hills to compensate for the dramatic drop it will experience once it hits the hill. My truck is great if its stopped and then goes, but its when you are already moving and you start to accelerate where it kind of gets a little weird. Over time, I've really mastered milking the gas pedal so the tranny won't skip or flutter. Doing passes as well can be strange too. If I hit it while I'm already moving it will quickly jump to about 4800 rpms and then the tranny will grip in and start moving. Overall though, I try not to hit it unless I'm completely stopped to avoid any transmission damage.
