Body lift is on: (Updated with Pics)
Well, I finally got a chance to do some work on the truck today to try to fix the vacuum leak I have. That didn't take long though. Turns out, when I replaced the brake booster hose with a longer one, I also replace the PCV hose with a new one because the old one was in poor condition. Apparently while I was attaching that hose to the intake, I accidentally disconnected the other vacuum hose that connects right below it on the intake. That was the problem. Hooked it back up, and my air now works out of all settings again.
The I pulled all my spark plugs and cleaned them up, regapped them, and put them back in. Truck is running a little smoother as a result. Gotta love preventative maintenance.

Yeah it's good stuff. Nothing beats a good running healthy truck. Really like the lift on your truck by the way, looks nice. I forgot to ask you though, have you felt a differance in performance with the 35" tires? I believe you are like me and have 4.10 gearing with the 35" tires. Did you notice a differance with the bigger tires, does your truck get to speed as good as it did before? I'm only curious because you knew what it was like to have 4.10 gearing with smaller tires.
Ya, it's sluggish compared to before, but not where I anticipated the sluggishness to be. I thought it wouldn't have any power off the line, but that seems like it has hardly changed. Were I notice it is when I am at highway speed, and I hit a small hill, or I need to accelerate to pass or climb a steep hill. It is kinda gutless compared to what it used to be, and just about any size hill makes it want to kick out of OD now. So it has really affected my final ratio. I think I will reagear at some point but probably not until next year when I will need to tow again. I can get by with this for now through the winter, and that gives me some time to save up for gears.
Yeah off the line power is still incredible for me as well. I noticed it HATES hills and getting up to highway speeds like you said. What did you mean that is kicks out of OD? Does it say O/D off? I haven't experienced anything like that before where it will kick out of OD, it just kind of hops around the rpm gauge when I go up hills, almost like its confused. Is that what you meant, or does the O/D off light actually come on your gauge cluster?
