Default Best Roll/Brush On Bedliner?

What do you guys recommend for roll on bedliners? there's Herculiner, Plastikote & a few others. Just want to hear some opinions from those who have them. From what i've read so far, it doesn't matter which one I use, as long as the surface preparation is top-notch. Whatever one i use, i'm going to go over the railwith it, so i don't want it to look crappy.

Duplicolor has a "Do-It-Yourself" spray on kit now. They supply the gun in the kit and you can do it in your driveway or garage. The finished product is going to look way better than Herculiner. I've seen rolled on Herculiner and it looks like crap compared to a spray in liner.

The other thing is you can find spray in liners for $350.00 - $400.00 and when you consider the cost of Herculiner ($100.00), the differenceyour paying foris only $250.00. That $250.00 pays for the materials, lifetime warranty, quality, perfomance of the product over the long haul, your trucks value, and your time and trouble.

You just have to ask yourself is it worth $250.00to you to have someone else do it?

padodgeram,
I wasn't talking about your truck specifically, just that I prefer a spray in liner vs. a rolled on liner. I think they look much better, it's just an opinion, you don't have to get all bent. you put alot of time and trouble into yours and you like it, thats all that matters.

every bedliner job can be botched, whether it's sprayed or rolled, it's human nature to screw up once in a while. i don't have a decent air compressorto do aspray in liner. so i asked about roll ons, my job used to be painting and a lot of it. i think i can handle getting a nice even finish out of a roller. i want to see some pics & read about your experiences with different types.

Ok here is mine . 1. prep work we all know that , but 1 gallon to a six foot bed , ok , but its a thin coat so i went did it with 2 gallons wear gloves this stuff sticks to skin , on a hot day like july when i did mine left it dry for 6 hrs before i added the seconded coat then dont use the bed for 48 hrs.. i like it was easy work a little messy they have in the kit like a ruff pad but i used sand paper lite grit then used acetone to wipe down the bed so it nice and clean..then installed herculiner it took me a full day but as you can see how it looks. On there website you can repair any damage by just putting another coat on it , dont have to cut out a piece or resand that section ( i dont know havent had that happen yet) but this summer ill be putting on another coat just for the hell of it....So far i hauled wood , gas , home heating fuel , boxes , house hold goods so far so good , No fading like i seen others , and the so called better liners seen crack , fade , peel away .. I also ended up painting it red with a spray can to match the truck that held up well to

4 months ..Thanks !!! for the comment , I seen people with rhino and it was peeling the 1st couple months , now rember this stuff dries faster when its hot and humid when its cold (32) or above takes longer to cure..When i did mine in july i did it in the sun (bake affect) was around 100 ... and nothing slides around either , only down fall is when you gotta climb in it cause you cant slide in and out of the bed i got brush burns and rip my shirt..
