Coverlay dash cover
It depends on how **** you are. I installed one on my truck, and, while the Coverlay people did a damn nice job with thier product, it still doesn't mask the fact that you have something over your original dash. I would not show my truck like that, but, then again, I would not show my truck. I epoxied the hell out of my dash and slapped that baby on there. Savings over the dealer's remedy went to hp.

Look up an old post of mine on the Palco dash cover from genosgarage.com

Nope, Doesn't matter. All +'98 Dodges had the same dash, 1500, 2500, and 3500. At least I think that was the year they changed.
I went with the Geno's dash as Coverlay is based in TX and I would have had to pay taxes. They both appeared to be basically the same.

They make this stuff called Amazing Goop that they sell at Home Depot that works well. I think it's in a blue and red tube. The really hard epoxy might have trouble with hot/cold expansion and contraction. The Goop stuff is more like rubbre cement on steroids.
