Default 1997 1500 5.9 2WD LIFTED TRANNY PROBLEM

I HAVE A 1997 1500 RAM WITH A 5.9 EXTENDED CAB IT IS 2 WD LIFTED

MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON

THE CODE IS PO740

THE BOOK SAYS TOURQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION

HAS ANY BODY HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE

THE TRUCK RUNS PERFECT BUT WHEN I CHANGED THE TRANNY FLUID I NOTICED IT SMELLED LIKE SOMETHING WAS WRONG OR BURNT

I HAVE ABOUT 115000 MILES ON THE TRUCK

ANY INFO HELPS THANKS

what size are your tires?, if they are much larger than stock,it causes a load on thetranny having to spin the rear end, also make sure the cooling lines are not clogged up for the transmission cooler.
