sounds like a good deal. i got my 97 4x4 off ebay for 3500 last summer with 150k miles. it looked real good minus the few rock chips on the hood but expected coming from CO. i did have to rebuild the tranny and transfer case this summer though so find out if it has already been done.

 

All the dodge trucks I have owned/drove shift hard whether they have wear or not. So I wouldn't be to concerned with the hard shift unless it feels like it is slipping.
