i got it up today on the stands, the ball joints detoriated. its almost straight metal to metal. the ball joints i ordered may not be professional grade, but definitely better than what i have, or dont have.

$1200 in ball joints and tie rods?!?!?! HAHAHAHAHA Theres like $400 MAX wirth of parts there. Good to see they're charging you $800 labor. That is the most upserd quote I have ever heard. Do it yourself.

My neighbor was a mechanical for the Oklahoma National Guard and told me that Spicer is good stuff. Are you *sure* you couldn't have ponied up a couple of extra for Moog?

at this point, no. i have to spread out 450 bucks for insurance, payment and parts. but i do plan on rebuilding some stuff next year, with parts from moog, rancho, etc. probably a 500 dollar rebuild by myself. this is more for personal experience and asap repairing. i have about 20 mins to do some wrenching so i'll see what i can do.

I CANT GET THOSE DANG COTTER PINS OFF ARGH. that took up all my daylight. did partially unhook the stabilizer bar though.

You don't need to disconnect the stabilizer bar to do the balljoints. At least, I didn't have to on my 97.

Yea, thats weird. Maybe they don't want other members to know that there are other sites out there doing the same thing. That might lead to somehow losing sponsership from vendors or somehing IDK

1,200 dollars man im moving to your area we get $400.00 a side P&L If you do it yourself spend the extra $$$ and get MOOG Pro Series. Keep them greesed-up and youll be ok for years!
