i had to replace mine a few weeks ago. it was stubborn so we heated it up and then pryed it off. it took a little pit of time but the end result with the new pitman arm is an amazing difference. good luck with it.

If you dont need the arm take a cutting wheel and cut a slitin it. Will fall right off with a smack of the hammer.
