i know its a torx, but i don't remember if its a 25, 27, or 30.
nothing wierd for pan and filter change. pan bolts are probably 13 mm
i think the band adjustment is a wierd tool. also takes a inch pound torque, or the experience to do it by feel. since i don't really know what i'm doing, i always just leave my bands alone.

The bolts holding my pan on are 1/2". 13mm works but in my experience, if you use the socket that fit the most snugly, you reduce the possibility of rounding them off. Mytranny filter bolts area #25 torx and they are pretty darn long. I suggest a 6" extension for your socket wrench(es)as it makes it easierto lay on the ground or dollyand not have to hold you arms up as high.

They make a nice little Stanley Torx socket set I got at Walmartthat has 11differentsockets in the 1/4" and 3/8" drive varieties. That'll cover just about every torx bolt you have on the truck.

That weird bolt on the tranny band is like an octagonalsocket and I can't even begin to tell you what size it is. I think you pretty much have to get it from the dealership parts counter.
