Default Leak on Drivers side

I have a leak some where on the front drivers side. After every good rain the carpet mat under plastic gets wet.
The windshield had a crack - I had it replaced. The window tech suggested I take a look at the driver side panel - he said it was common for rams to leak if the plastic underneath was ripped up. I took it off and the plastic was ripped in a few places. I duct-taped it.
It is a crew cab with rear 'suicide' doors - the weather stripping looks good. It hasnt rained since. Is there anything else it could be?

On my truck it ended up being a leak around the third brake light. Took it out and then a little silcone and I no longer had a wet floor.

Default third light

I can almost guarantee its the third light. I couldn't believe it either... seems kind of far fetched... All I had to do is remove the light and put some sealant to create a watertight seal... a 10 minute fix.

It will take a while for the carpet to dry... at least it did for mine.

Water in this case travels under the plastic trim that lines the edges of the cab, back to front, and empties right on the driver's side carpet... it does not make anything else wet. My carpet in the back has always been dry...

Default Wet driver floor...heater core?

98 Ram 1500 SS/T. The driver floor is wet. Most heater cors I know of drip on the passenger floor. Now I am pretty sure I need to do the core, as the passenger side windsheild is always fogged, adn I smell coolant now and then....

So I am just wondering if the wet driver floor is the same issue, hould I be looking for another source for the wetness.
