Default Plug wires changed. Now the check engine light is on ?

Hi, I've just changed the plugs, plug wires and distributor cap on my 99 5.9 Ram. Fired it up and was running rough so checked the leads(wires).2 were on the wrong plugs so I swapped them over and now the truck runs sweet. The only thing is now the check engine light is on all the time. Any ideas ?

probably a missfire code
disconnect battery on negative side and turn key to on position for at least 5-10 seconds - this will reset adaptive pcm values and DTC's
code should go away!
Might run rough at first once battery is reconnected and started, but it will smoothen itself out
