If your gonna get cherry bombs just get the dynomax bullets. There the same price, and they sound a lot better!! They also are like a straight through design, they are awesome!

That iz t3h funniez, you say you have power 20dodgeneon00, i doubt it.

5.9 liter trucks barely push 112 to the wheels, get a real truck, my sierra 2500 came with 421 rwhp stock and I upped that bitch to almost 800 rwhp with documentation that I tattoo'd on my back.

So I have a 99' V10 with straight pipes and I get a nice agressive sound at startup and a few minutes of driving then the sound goes away and becomes quiet and weak, any thoughts of this?

Hmm...So she's completely straight through (no cats?). I mean the only thing I could think of is because she's a v10. Usually bigger enignes don't have as an aggressive spark/firing pattern as the v8's do. Those engines are like brontosaures haha. They have incredible power, but they are more like "torque fests". The brontosaurus may have not been as loud or as quick as the t-rex, but I bet it could have outpowered it ANYDAY! If you do have cats, gut them suckers, it should make it louder. But if is truly straight piped, I'm still surprised your not getting a LOUD tone, I reckon you could make one of them puppies scary if everything was straight through etc. Theres no reason why your beasty v10 cant be as loud as my 5.9L v8 and some of othe others guys v8s ya know?

Well it has the cats but it is loud when the trucks cold and just starting to drive. When revving it at idle it has a nice loud cackle, driving it to the end of the block it is loud and at 2100 rpm accelerating to 25mph it resonates very loudly, but after about 2 minutes I loose the sound, it goes into a lower drone under the same conditions and at idle after driving for 5 minutes and revving the engine it has an annoying cackle to it. Im just wondering if the pipes being warm affect the sound since the sound just bounces everywhere and the metal may react differently when warm? If so, would a glasspack maintain the cold start sound or would the same thing happen but with less cackle?

I'm actually being picky with the sound but here are the audio/video clips (from my busted camera hehe) http://s60.photobucket.com/albums/h36/wotankuei/?action=view¤t=truckexhaust.flv
and after 5/6 minutes: http://s60.photobucket.com/albums/h36/wotankuei/?action=view¤t=truckexhaust003-1.flv
