Default Exhaust ? need some opinions

Ok so I was talking to a guy who does inspection stickers and He told me i could go with a cherry bom exhaust which is basically a long red tube if anyone knows what i mean. Would this be louder than my flow master 40 series si/do? i plan on running my pipe right in front of my passenger rear wheel. Would it be louder? they only cost like 30 bucks.

haha yup, them red tubes are just full of fiberglass and hollow, just straight pipe witha slight muffle to it, the flowmaster is designed to be high flow but keep a clean throaty noise. and if you lead it in front of the rear axle then you got a nice loud cackle most likely

So the red tube exhaust is louder correct? What would you do if you were in my shoes looking for something a little louder? Guy at meineke said the Vortex muffler is deeper than a flowmaster.

I wouldent get a glasspack... they sound like ***.

Stick with a flowmaster 40 series, 50 series also sounds nice if you have a high flow cat...
IMO flowmaster 40's sound the best out of any muffler around.

Well i mean it sounds alright but i was thinking tips could amplify it some more? I was also thinking of swapping out the "original" series with the super 40 or super 44. Thoughts? I really like the sound of yours padodgeram. Could you tell me what exactly you have? And where i can get it all? I have around 150 to spend that i got for christmas money from other relatives.

The super 44's sound great as well and should be a little louder than the super 40 with quite a bit deeper tone, if that is what you are wanting. Or you could just go without a muffler, and if you want to get crazy, go with true duals and just straight pipes, then it could be crazy loud. Here are some videos of my truck with different exhaust setups that I've had over the past few months if you'd like to check it out. What I have now is the true duals into an x-pipe and then to 2 flowmaster super 44s and out the back with I think 18 inch tips, I like it the most.

This one is just true dual with straight pipes.

well, how i see it is i need to have a muffler or i cant get a sticker. And i need cat converters. And most importantly im on a low low budget, 150 bucks roughly lol. So, i cant do true dual exhaust because that costs a lot to have done. I think i could get the high flow cat but ill have to check with my mechanic. So that leaves me 1 option. 1. get another muffler to swap my old one out with a super 44, or super 40. So if anyone knows of a cheap, and most importantly legal solution please im open to ideas.
