Default swap

im new to this and i havent found any info on if its possible to get rid of all this electronic s#$t on my engine and put an older engine in and if so how hard it would be to do it i hate all this electronic s@#$

welcome to DF, what do you mean by electric stuff? yes its always hard to swap out an engine, and it even harder if your changing the engine family, like going from a 5.2 or a 5.9 to a new 5.7 its of cource going to be hard and expensive

well a 94 wont be AS hard as say a 98 but it still will be quite a project...fow far do you want togo..from fule injection to a carb? or just to mechanical gauges...i dont think there is too much that is electrically controledon the 94'swhy do you want to remove all the electrical?

Not really sure why you would want to downgrade the system to a carb if you already have a functioning fuel injected vehicle. The FI will run as well as the carb setup with less maintinence (IE adjusting the carb), especially if you take it off pavement at all.
