I added another part to the list...just picked up some eddelbrock 4495's for extra rocker clearance, not to mention, people crap their pants when they see chrome at a car show.

THESE valve covers make people crap their pants...but they are 360 dollars.

YESSSSSS!!!!! Who is ready to be jealous! I got it runnin. It was 180* out, so I just picked up the dist and fliped it. Now it runs! I only ran it for about 3 seconds because its 2 am and doing a cam brake in at 2 am is kinda rude, and I had the idle screw set at @1500 rpm so I couldnt get a good feel for the sound. I do have a video of its first (kinda) breaths, but moreso **** it felt strong.

Alrightey. You want a videos yes? I got a couple. Final update though. Truck is all set, the only thing left to do is secondary valve adjustment. Drove about 40 miles last night, Only ran over 3k once. What a freeking diffrence. Firstly I really had no need to get over 3k because at 3k it pulled like it used to at 5, I ran it to 4500 but the valve tap was too much for me to feel safe soI backed out. I still have 1200 rpm to go once I adjust the valves again. On that 4500 run the truck moved like a scalded dog! Other than that the only problem I have is that this pulls just a little toolittle vaccume at idle so when I come to a light It really really wants to die when im using the brakes, so either I put it in neutral and stop, or come to a stop while blipping the throttle. Im going to get a vaccume canister to help out. Other than that its a real freekin champ. I definately like it better than the lightnings that Iv driven, which was the point of the whole project secretly so thats cool.

Indys first breath of new life. Just checkin to see if it starts. http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y57...t=MVI_0640.flv
