Ok, everyone here’s the deal. 20Dodgeneon has a really nice truck but, he is going down. I just got my bonus and I’m dumping it all into the truck. Then I’m going to go find 20dodgeneon, hook chains with him and drag his *** around in the snow. In my quest to show 20dodgeneon what’s up, I have a slight disadvantage. My truck is forest green. Not that nice of a color. Not much I can do about that so I’m not sure what exterior mods would look nice. Anyways here’s my list of things I want to do. Tell me what you all think and if you have any suggestions let me know. I have about 3k and I have to have all of this work done by mid January because I’m moving to South Carolina. Which will help boost the performance of the truck since I live in Utah right now. I know the list adds up to more then 3k and something’s won’t work with others. This is a list of everything that I want to do and I need everyone’s help to decide what would be the most effective. I still need towing power but I want the truck to look "mint".
1. New timing Chain = 80$
2. Kegger mod = free
3. TB port = Free
4. Hypertech = 250-300
5. Plenum = 80
6. 3” suspension lift = 500$
7. 1.7 rr = 300-400$?
8. Cam (Maybe) = 800$
9. Rocker panels = 200$
10. Fenders = 400$
11. Heads = 700-1000$
12. Dual Exhaust = 300$
13. Headers = 400$
14. MSD 6a = 200$
15. Locker = 400$ (I really want this but, I want performance more)
16. Dual Shocks = 100$-150
17. Ram air hood = 700-800$
18. Mopar valve covers = 100$
19. Mopar air cleaner = 80$
20. 3" body lift = 300$
Ps – 20dodgeneon I’m just messing around with you but, I definitely need help in deciding what mods to do.

As you may or may not know, I do the work on Amanda's 2g 360 ram. it ran 14.80s, but its a 2wd rc.
the mods are:
ebay CAI, relocating the filter down near the rad.
fastman tb
edelbrock headers
"high flow" cat..
3" single exhaust, dumped before the rear axle.
3.92 gears
mopar MSD 6AL ignition and blaster coil
march underdrive pullies, minus the PS pulley
twin electric fans
stock shroud removed.
mopar performance PCM (its a 94, so its OBDI, thus no hand programmers, but the mopar pcm made a BIG difference.)
the truck is full weight, minus the spare. 120,000-ish miles.
the next mods that it will get, when we get to it, will be a new bumper (the current bumper is starting to bubble under the paint, it was painted 7+ years ago. the next performance mods will be the transmission. weve had no issues with it, even with doing burnouts and racing with DRs, but id like a little more "pop" to it, as well as a bigger stall.
i think that 14.80s is pretty respectable for a daily driven truck with that amount of mileage, and those runs were in less than ideal conditions. it was a terribly humid weekend, and in the 80s-90s. the mirada only ran in the high 12.70s, which was better than a tenth off...a few weeks later, the mirada went low 12.60s...plus, amanda made only 6 runs with her truck that weekend, and each was faster than the one before it, so i think that she could have gotten into the 14.70s, if not 14.60s..with some practice, and definately in some nice cool air.

i got the chains, hit i-75 till you dont see civilization anymore and ull find me.
I'lljust suggest by editing the list:
1. New timing Chain = 80$ You can get it cheaper, keep looking, try hughesengines.com
2. Kegger mod = free Free = yes, always
3. TB port = Free
4. Hypertech = 250-300 Save it, get a B&G flash or a SCT tuner
5. Plenum = 80 don't go cheaper here, get the plate all the gaskets and the newbolts
6. 3” suspension lift = 500$ Go withgearsinstead, you're planning all these performance mods, put that powerto the wheels, baby!, just cut about 1200 of theother stuff
7. 1.7 rr = 300-400$? get the 1.6's with a cam
8. Cam (Maybe) = 800$ Cam w/ 1.7RR? that's a waste
9. Rocker panels = 200$
10. Fenders = 400$
11. Heads = 700-1000$ You can get a bareset of heads from hughesengines.com for 250 a piece, but it wouldn't hurt to spend this much and build them up with better springs, pushrods, valves, etc.
12. Dual Exhaust = 300$
13. Headers = 400$
14. MSD 6a = 200$
15. Locker = 400$ (I really want this but, I want performance more) That'll help put the power to the wheels
16. Dual Shocks = 100$-150
17. Ram air hood = 700-800$ Maybe, butthen you might want to go with a box that'll push the air into the tb, the cover on the round moparA/C will justdeflect the intial forced inair.
18. Mopar valve covers = 100$ just for looks? you can worry about the looks of the engine bay later.
19. Mopar air cleaner = 80$
20. 3" body lift = 300$ I'd personally scratch this and the sus lift and go with a regearing of the rear diff.
These are just my personal suggestions take tem or leave them.
