yep tow package also has bigger alt, they figure your gonna be charging the traler your pulling

 

Like ryans590 said, all the Rams with tow package had the 139amp alternator and then they were put on the 00-01 Off Road packages.

 

i think the show plow package had the bigger alt too...as well as the camper package, it also could just be ordered from the factory with a bigger alt

what constitutes having a tow package? trailer brakes and tow hitch?

 

came factory with tow hitch, trailer wireing, bigger alt, bit hever springs in the rear, dident come with a brake controler thow

 

JCliffordd - Thanks, I have always wanted one like it also. So as soon as I got this truck I started modding it. I have only had 3 months now and added everything but the brush guard and steps. Next month it is getting repainted factory color and then after that I will start saving up for a suspension lift, headers, and bigger tires.
