Ya, I thought of somthing in the motor moving too... what ever it is, it works now... but for how long is the question.

Hopefully when it quits the next time it doesnt quit when its half down... its like 15 degrees here.

For Crying Out Loud!

You're supposed to holler, curse, and hit before asking for help, not after. You now mustcut one corner off of your man-card, or buy everyone that tried to help a beer.

-30... screw that... I wouldent leave my house.

I knew getting pissed at things helps... haha

But its probably me getting pissed at things that casued the problem, a few times ive slammed my door so hard it put a crack right down the window, and poped the door panel off breaking things... lol

Have you tried putting grease one the track that the window glides on while going up and down? The reason I asked is because that was a suggestion to me from this post and it fixed my problem. I ised the spray lithium grease because 1) it stays longer and with stands moisture and 2) i could control the spray with the nozzel srtaw. Just a suggestion to throw in.

I'm bumping this old thread as I have the same problem. The window works some of the time, but if it quits I can slam the door once or trice to get it working again. I installed a new switch and checked all of the connections without any change.

Ideas? Most likely the motor?

Probably the motor. Brushes getting worn or some such.
