PA, did you ever test out different filter heights and find an optimal one?

I like Silver_Dodge's setup.

With the K&N and the individual breather.

Yes i did and i like the 5" better then the 2" filter that comes with the mr gasket , with that being said im gonna change it around again im going with the KN extreme top with the KN filter 3 3/8 high filter with the extreme top thats 4" high so it should go well with the cowl hood... and of course fastman TB.. with the KN filter wrap...

Man, all these filters and fittings are confusing me, lol. I'm the type that needs to be watching it done, but after the first or second time, i'll be set for life.

Yeah, I only wish my truck was fully prepared for mods. But hey, cheap truck was bound to have some problems, but I like wrenchin on it so I didn't see any use in buying a perfectly running truck if I was just going to upgrade everything anyway.

I'm hearing ya, I didn;t start modding until things started going wrong, and the breakage was a reason to upgrade, now I'm hooked.

Welcome to the dark side...

Hey can you really "break" an air filter? lol. I've never heard of one, but curious to know if it happens.
