It was SilverRam. Giving good advice is also knowing your limitations. I do more of my own work than anyone in my neighborhood. Certain things I refuse to do because I work smart, not hard. I KNOW I could do the headers, but why would I? Besides, I don't think headers are worth the money vs. return they provide.

If I am wrong about the blocks I am sorry. I thought they were aluminum-nickel.

One more thing...some guys don't have the 'touch' working on your vehicles requires. They just get in there and yank and crank away. When I installed my garage door opener, I threw away all the aluminum junk bolts and nuts, and I do that on everything I do.

BTW I actually can do my own painting due to plenty of auto-body courses, and I've rebuilt a few alternators and the like. I also mount my own tires usually....
