K, hey yall. how is everyone. K, what i am wanting to do is to turn my 250 hp stock motor and make it turn out about 350 rwhp and hopefully somewhere around 500 ft pound torque. I have had my truck for 2 years and i am wanting to take ona chevy desiel. Some guys around here think they are the sh** and i want to put them in their place. I can easily do it on my 2007 Kawasaki ZX6R race bike, not its not the same as doing it in an everday driver truck, plus i like bragging rights. I know headers and bolt ons will provide some hp and torque, but i want to get the everyones expert advice on here. I know Bouncer88 and Iceman are really knowledgable so, tell me whats the best.
Hope you are ready to rob a bank.... heads port polish bigger valves, cam , 1.6 roller rockers with needle point bearings , or 1.7 RR staying stock cam but you want power... bore the block 30 over , stroke it , then get the block blueprinted drop the AC , get a bigger TB , do some work on your intake , bigger injectors , headers , PCM flash , NEXT TRANS : rebuild it , higher stall convertor , shift kit , next gears 4.10s or get a pair go for a 4.56 maybe 4.88s...
The first thing to do would probably be gears if you have the 3.55. If you want to take on a diesel you'll probably need tostroke the engine. By the way I'm not knowlegable I just repeat all of the **** that the smart people post. HankLis the man.
350/500rw will be near impossible to make with a gas motor.
@ 350rwhp most NA gas motors will be making in the 380-410trq at the wheels (reasonable NA408)
To see 500rwtrq would require about 550rwhp or more. (stout 408 w/10+psi boost)
