Flowmaster Race Series Mufflers
HAHA yeah man we are too much alike!
Thanks for the comments BadRam! I don't think he'll have an issue though with the inlets though. He runs that true dual, so he'll need to buy two mufflers anyways, so the si/so will work fine. I will let him know though about the Extreme as well though. I'm pretty sure he's stuck on Flowmaster though. We both know what flowmaster gives you, and we are kind of addicted to their tin can noise. But I've looked up the extremes on youtube and they seem pretty sick too! I will run it by him undoubtedly. Thanks again for the comments on our trucks!

Ihave the 10 series on my truck with no pipe or turn dow after the muffler. This puts the exhaust exiting almost under the passenger seat. There is quite a bit of interior resonance, but with the windows up and the radio slightly above normalvolume you don't notice after a while. With the windows down it gets ridicuously loud.
the 10 series will be pretty loud. And 20dodge, im not sure of why my truck isnt loud, at idle sometimes you can barely hear it. Should i swap out a different muffler? like the super 40? or super 44? My flowmaster now is a 40 series but not sure if its the delta flow one or original series one. I hit the side of my converter and i dont hear anything rattling around so i dont think its clogged. What would you do if it was your truck?? I too am looking for that tone. i have a 5.2L engine.
20dodge. I have had many fords, and well still do. In my past experiences the series 10 race mufflers really don't carry much of the traditional flowmaster tone. It don't really have much for chambers or baffles in it for that matter. My 2000 Mustang Steeda number 13 i run flowmasters, My 23 Ford T Bucket i have basically extention pipes after the headers down the side of the car(baffles tooken out) My 3500v10 has a single magnaflow as a balance chamber for the duals. And the 2000 1500 5.9 has super 44's. wow thinking about it i'm not very consistant at the moment with exhaust. If i was him and running ALOT of fords in my past i would go with the orginal 40 series flows. Also i was rereading threw and i don't notice what the rest of his exhaust intails. If he wants the tone and as loud as he can run 3in pipes off the headers which i'm assuming he has to after the cab to dual series 40's then dumped. But that is what i would do. I hope this gives you some imput.
Spaz post it up for the man.
Ramguy. i don't wanna jock this mans thread but i would get rid of the current cat with either a high flow unit or gut your current. All my vehicals have pipe in place of the cat. My trucks all have tail pipes but if you don't care either way then dumped with always give you a louder deeper sound. I personally like the orginal series 40's. but the super 44's give a awesome sound and it seems like what most people run on here or switching too. Feel free to send me a PM if you want more details. i've had quite a few race cars and such so i've had alot of differnt set ups from ford to dodge to chevy. i don't bit often i usually have my mussle on. =D

All my setup is stock manifold, stock y, stock cat, stop pipe to 3 inch in 3 inch out 10 series. from there it gets a short piece of 3 inch pipe just before the axle...then y'd into 2 1/4 dual out the side.
let me know what you guys think...
